Samsara

 - Caravaggio, Michelangelo. San Jerónimo -
Samsara
-Es para ti, ya sabes.

For years.
For entire lives.
She is not here to hold my fucking hand.
For her hand. I am not.
For her heart. I am not.
I am not at all.
My nothing-hand was useless.

Blind-walking. Wavering steps.
Trembling hand that she is not here to soothe.
Once, she was.
Every act. Every step. Every try and tumble.
Her hand was north and memroy and remorse.
Eevery thing was in her hand.
Samsara in her fingers.
Nirvana in her palm.
Her soothing hand.
Her wounding hand.

For her hand. I am not.
For her heart. I am not
I am not. At all.
I am sorry.
I have said it many times.
To the night. To the echoes. To the absence.
I am sorry.
Written a thousand times.
With this trembling hand that she is not here to soothe.

My hand stretched out still.
But she is not here to hold my fucking hand.
I wish she were.
I wish I was.

In life. Real or imagined.
In death. Feared, future and all-encompasing.
In love. Betrayed.
In guilt. Unforgiven.
In hope. Ever fugitive.
In absence. In echoes. In nothing.
In her disbelief. Unabiding.
In our last day. Shared or unknown.
Everywhere. Everywhen.
From every wound, scar and healing touch.

I reach out. My hand stretched out to her. Forever.
And she is not here to hold my fucking hand.
Blind-walking. Wavering steps.
Trembling hand that she is not here to soothe.

I am not.
For her hand. I am not.
For her heart. I am not.
For her. I am no-thing.
To her, I am nothing.
And she is not here to hold my fucking hand.
My trembling hand.
My fucking hand.
My nothing hand.
My nothing.

 - Merson, Luc-Olivier. Esmeralda y Quasimodo. -
Años.
Vidas enteras.
A tientas.
No estoy.
No estoy.
No estoy.
Me estiro.
No estoy — aquí
No estoy — para tomar mi mano.
Mi mano temblorosa.
Mi mano.
Mi nada.
